DESIGN SERVICES

Complete package includes:​

• On-site client meeting

  • Discuss client needs, issues and overall vision for the design.​

  • Site walk to reveal special requirements & design opportunities. 

• Detailed site measurements (on-site visit)

  • ​Measurements taken of all existing structures.

  • Record locations of all existing vegetation and topographic elements.

• Base map 

  • Base map created from measurements of the design area including all structures and existing plant material and locations.

  • Base map created in CAD (computer aided design).

• Conceptual design

  • A 2-D and 3-D conceptual design is created for the space, to scale. 

  • Conceptual design will indicate locations of proposed site improvements and plant material.

• Proposed plant list

  • Plant list based on client's input and site specific requirements.

  • Includes name, quantity, size, and water use of each plant proposed. 

• Plant brief packet

  • Individual description of all proposed plants that includes color photos, sun, habitat and water requirements  

• ​Sun location assessment

  • ​This report will display the sun’s position on the property for the calendar year to aid in new plant and structure selection & placement.

  • Sun location info overlaid with photos of the design area for clarity.

• Client meeting (design review) 

  • Review conceptual design and plant list.

  • Discuss any changes to be made to the design.

• Revisions 

  • 2 rounds of revisions to the design based on client feedback.

• Delivery of final plan (CAD) 

  • ​This will include final size and locations of all site elements and plant material. Documents to be delivered below.

    • 1 – 24” x 36” paper copy + digital copy of the base map

    • 1 – 24” x 36” paper copy + digital copy of the final master plan

    • 1 – 24” x 36” paper copy + digital copy of the planting plan

    • 1 –  Comprehensive plant list

    • 1 –  Plant Brief packet providing relevant details of each plant

    • 1 –  Notes page detailing key design elements and clarifications

    • 1 –  Sun location assessment

    • 3-D flythrough video and still shots of final design. (example)
